Return ferry was cancelled due to weather. Had to take BC ferry to Vancouver, then bus to Seattle. Did not arrive Seattle until 12:30 at night.

The rides both ways were fine and on time. Boarding and disembarking are at best cumbersome, but no surprise. I booked through an agent without understanding that I would have no choice on timing of my return trip. When I discovered this and called the offices I was treated poorly. Finally I was able to contact my original booking agent and handled the re-booking. It worked out but with no assistance from your Customer Service Agent. You would do well to work on that.
Finally, and without regard to the reservation snafu, it boils down to value (cost vs. time, ease of use, frustration levels). Next trip, I will pay closer attention to the alternatives.

Small boat, terrible food, outrageous pricing. Definitely would recommend another route to fellow passengers.

If you are going to make us wait up to 1 hour in a waiting room, GIVE US MORE ROOM AND SOME AIR. I felt like I was in a cattle pen, and some of the people smelled like it too.

The bathrooms were very dirty and the seating could have been much more comfortable.

The service provided was efficient and provided rapid surface transportation between Seattle and Victoria, but the experience was merely transportation, nothing more. It was the most confining boat I have ever been on. No deck space, no viewing options, nowhere to go but your own (cramped) seat. But, for transportation, it worked just fine.

The ferry was well appointed and the crew was helpful. I thought both the check-in and exit process were much slower than it should have been. I could not get a window seat so it was difficult to sight see. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

I am used to the BC Ferries, which have better seating and better food service.

Victoria was great and we went on the bus tour to the Gardens. It was outstanding how the bus picked us up right off the Clipper, the timing for all of that was perfect. The most disappointing of all was the food on the Clipper. I had read online that we could get breakfast aboard. We left home in Olympia at about 0430 to make the sailing time and when we got aboard my family was hungry. I had envisioned a nice breakfast with beautiful scenery on the boat. For the price we paid, I thought we would be able to get a decent breakfast. It was a shame to start the day like that, it put a pall on the whole experience and tainted the entire trip. The crew of the Clipper was great, the Clipper itself was great, Victoria was great, the Bouchart Gardens was great, the food on the Clipper absolutely sucked. Lesson learned for us.

Ship engine broke before start of return trip to Seattle. Service recovery very poor. No attempt at making it easier for passengers. We did not leave port until about 1 AM.
